Precinct’s crowd-funding campaign cancelled

Featured Replies

I don't know if any of you have heard of Police Quest. For you who don't know Police Quest was/is a series of police simulation video games produced Sierra (Oh how we do love sierra btw!). The first five games were adventure game/simulations, the first three were designed by a former policeman by the name of Jim Walls.

Anyway, they were founding a kickstarter that has once again failed. I have some mixed feelings about this. I was kind of looking forward to a good police sim, one other than LCPDFR. The thing was, what they had shown wasn't really that good. What do you people think about it? Want? Does not want? Why, why not?

I gotta say, that game looks pretty intense, would be pretty sweet to have mods.. that's really all i'm saying about it.

Not something I could fund, just because it doesn't look too great and asking for $400k, in an economic climate like this is just ridiculous.

There's lot of indie games started from nothing. How they need $400k for this is seriously beyond me.

I agree. They probably thought that they could "ride on the police quest wave", meaning that the people that enjoyed those games would look forward to this and thus fund it.

Here is the reference post on this

Should these posts be merged and maybe the original updated to reflect them being cancelled. That way all the info is in one thread?

Ah fiddlesticks, I missed that thread. Maybe a merge should be the way to go!
